The Rule of 3
When communicating information, it should be broken down into three parts:
- the main point,
- The most important piece of information,
- the supporting details,
- Provides context and additional information,
- and the conclusion.
- Sums up the main point and highlights the main takeaways.

- Make communication more clear, effective, and memorable.
- Help the listener to understand, retain and act on the information being communicated.
- Help to communicate clearly and persuasively.

- Logos: then bring in the rational argument and facts
- Pathos: then engage the emotions and connect with an audience

- Why - to explain the motivation behind something and engage the emotions (through the limbic system and older part of the brain)
- How - to explain how this will help people
