Blurred Vision in Low Light
Blurred vision in low light (morning, evening) can be caused by a variety of factors such as age-related changes in the eyes, refractive errors, or eye conditions such as cataracts or glaucoma. In Ayurveda, this condition is known as Timira.
Remedies
Take vitamin A and C
Consume foods that are rich in Vitamin A and C, such as carrots, spinach, oranges, and other citrus fruits.
Eye exercises
Practice eye exercises like eye rotations, eye blinking, and palming. These exercises help to improve eye muscle strength and reduce eye strain.
Reduce screen time
Limit the time spent on electronic devices as they can cause eye strain and fatigue.
Use eye drops
Over-the-counter eye drops like artificial tears can help to lubricate and soothe dry eyes, which can cause blurred vision.
Protect your eyes
Wear sunglasses or a hat to shield your eyes from the sun's harmful UV rays. Also, use protective eyewear while doing activities that may cause eye injury.
Consult an ophthalmologist
If your symptoms persist or worsen, it is advisable to consult an ophthalmologist for a thorough eye examination to rule out any underlying eye conditions that may require medical intervention.
